To all my friends and family.  I have come to a decision that has been a very hard and difficult one to make.  After much contemplation with myself and discussion with family members I have decided that I need to take a break for a while from my photography.  I love doing photography and taking pictures of family and friends has been a highlight in my life. But as our home circumstances have changed I must change with them and my time is not as free as it used to be.  What used to take me one day to edit   a batch of pictures is not taking me weeks and my blog has fallen way behind.  I will use this break to step back and re-evaluate my photography and techniques I could improve on for future use when I feel I am ready to step back in.  I have loved and enjoyed so much the pictures over the years that I have done for everyone.  Thanks you all for the opportunities you have gave me to be a special part of your families.

MIKES BIG NEWS

Whoo Hoo me and Kurtis are going to be Grandparents and it's a girl!  Ok so some people might find us announcing this inappropriate, but  we have been dealing with a lot of negativity with her situation.  We have felt like we have needed to run away and hide ourselves from everyone.  But through this, we have also experienced a lot of support and love from many people which we have appreciated so much.  We know this isn't the best circumstances this happened under, but at this point it is what it is.  After seeing the ultrasound yesterday and seeing that baby on the screen new feelings surfaced of a new reality and it was wonderful.  I have come to the conclusion that me and Kurtis have the right to enjoy the fact that we are going to be grandparents and that Mike has the right to enjoy the fact that she is going to be a mother and no one should try and take that away from us.  Our family is very tickled that it is going to be a  girl, but I have to admit I was very shocked.  Almost everyone predicted it was going to be a boy.  We are now rethinking clothing, room colors, and quilt colors.  Mike is doing great.  I have watched her grow and progress in many new areas of her life.  She is going to be a great mother and she will have many family and friends by her side to help her through this.  We will move forward and let go of all of the negativity and progress through the many stages that we must go through.  This was a stage in life we weren't expecting at this time, but it is here now and we are going to embrace it.
