THIS POST WILL CATCH ME UP!

Yes I think I am caught up now with our July craziness....but July isn't over yet and we have some fun things planned to finish out the month. But for now I will be caught up. Last week I got to send Mike and Sam off to girls camp. Boy was it peaceful at our house. Me and Steph had some fun times while they were gone. She gets a little spoiled during these times. One day though me and her got up and worked on the yard. I had not done anything with the yard all summer. So I picked one of the hottest days to finally go out and work on it...but it needed it. I tore all the weeds out of our front mound. I need to decide what to do with it. It has issues where it is on the hill. All the good dirt rolls off with the rain and watering and leaves nothing but rocky yucky dirt. So I think I will wait for bark to go on sale and just fill it in with bark. Hmm or maybe I will fill it in with rock. Not sure. Ok so while the girls were gone Steph had her softball tournament. She either pitched or played first base. They did good. They won there first game, but lost their second. Steph wanted to know though if 4th place got a trophy. I laughed...that was all she was worried about was a trophy. But they didn't do trophy's this year so she didn't have to worry. The girls had fun at girls camp. They said that the leaders did a great job. Mike said she felt like they did a great job to make every have a good time. Lots of activities were going on. In fact Mike said that they were almost to busy, but they enjoyed it. They must have been busy because I sent them with a camera and they came home with no pictures in it. But I am glad they had fun! So like I say.... I am caught up.

Spoiled at Girls Camp

Sam made it home from girls camp. She said she had a great time. Some girls camp though......look what they got to stay in. Spoiled! What happened to tents? hahahaha

She said it was so beautiful up there. The pictures didn't do it justice.

This is the lake where Sam went canoeing. Sam said it was fun, scary and hard. But she thought it was an amazing experience.

They had to do all their cleanup before they left. No spot could be left behind. Major cleanup. Wish I could get that kind of help at home. Hahahah. (in my dreams)

But, I have heard nothing but wonderful things about girls camp from Sam. She said she had such a great time and that her testimony grew so much up there. That was so nice to hear! But you know, my house has been so clean while Sam and Mike were gone. Now that Sam is home it is messy already. Suitcases and bags spread out all over. I can't get her to pick them up. Then we have to go through this with Mike tomorrow. Maybe next year I will send them to a cleaning camp. HAHAHAH

Stephs Week

Well, I sent Mike and Sam off for a week. Sam left for girls camp at 6:45 this morning. They are going up to a campground in Heber for a week. She will be home on Friday.



We dropped Mike off for EFY at 10:00 this morning. She will be home on Saturday.



That leaves me and Steph alone all week during the day. So she has the week planned out for us. It is Mom and Steph week. Today after dropping the girls off we went and ate at the Pizza Factory. She has been wanting to go there for a while so today she got her chance.



Then we stopped and visited with Dad at his office. She watched him weigh rocks and roll worms. She loves to watch him work.



Then we headed to a movie. We went and see JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH. I was very excited to see this movie becasue of most of you may or may not know Brendon Frasier is my favorite actor. It was cute. I am very excited though for THE MUMMY 3 to come out. Can't wait. But me and Steph had a great time at the movies.


So there goes day one of our Mom and Steph week. More fun to come!
