So, Kurtis took Thursday of so we could go do something fun for the day. The girls wanted to go to Lagoon which sounded good to me. There was just one glitch.....Kurtis was in the middle of a ball tournament so we had to wait to see if they would be playing on Thursday or not. Well their team was undefeated so they had to play the championship game on Thursday night, so needles to say we had to rearrange our plans a bit so we could be home in time for the game....(which by-the-way they won! Good game guys!) So we went to Bridal Veil Falls. I haven't been there for a long time. The last time I was there is when the tram was still there and the restaurant. You can check out my photography blog for some awesome pics of just the falls.
"Smile Sam!" ....(NO! I don't want to!")
Of course Mike couldn't leave her phone for a few seconds...she might miss a text.
Steph is my monkey! She wasn't afraid to climb anything. In fact she even went climbing the face of the falls. Sure made me nervous...but she wasn't.
DON"T FALL!
After we were done at Bridal Veil Falls, we then rode up to Deer Creek on the highway that Kurtis helped build. It was amazing to see how much Provo Canyon has changed and continues to change since back in the day. After Deer Creek we took a ride to Sundance and Aspen Grove. Beautiful Drive! Then came back down into Provo, had lunch at Panda Express....Sam was very happy to eat there, Then we went on a search for a new microwave. Ours is on it's last leg......along with our dishwasher....and our stove not following to close behind. And still we made it home in time for the championship game. Hopefully in August we will make it to Lagoon!
